Ocean's Eleven

absolutely great movie. it’s super entertaining and after watching it i always feel like i can go rob a casino knowing full well i really cant. the cast was phenomenal and it’s just a good robbery film. 8.5/10

Steven Soderbergh's style is perfect for a heist. The cinematography just put me in a trance and hooked me onto the slight tang of comedy. Yes, there are the obvious plot holes but I've already forgotten most. It plays out so smoothly you don't even realise the heist began. The characters are all played well and the music makes the thrill feel that much more alive. The introduction and set-up worked well for how many important and big roles there are. I saw most of it coming but after a certain point, it feels more like the 'final episode' of a legendary soap. I'm glad it stayed simple though, even after a city-wide power outage, it still felt grounded.

They should have just blown a big hole in the vault and ran away really fast with the money like they do in the lego

A fun little heist movie. The beginning is 30 minutes of exposition but then it gets good and entertaining. 7.8/10
