First one was better in my opinion, but this one was still a good watch. I saw a comment that said they missed an opportunity to name the sequel “Now You Don’t” 😂

Rewatched Now You See Me 2 and it didn’t land like I remember. It’s a cat-and-mouse story that just drags after a while. And Harry Potter not using any real magic? Come on, bro.

The plane scene was the only part that really grabbed me. They still don’t do a good job explaining the “who, what, why” behind The Horsemen. An origin story of how that whole thing started would’ve been way cooler.

Overall, pretty underwhelming. Definitely not one I need to revisit again.

I only remembered the vault scene from this movie before this rewatch (that scene is arguably the best heist scene) but this movie was a great sequel! Fun story with some twists I wasn’t expecting and some turns I was ready for.
