it’s interesting to see how different decades tell and interpret this story
this version wasn’t very subtle but it was definitely charming, lucy was wonderful and captivating to watch

He’s so gay I love

Beautifully shot, acting and costume design were dated but still enjoyable. Liked the depiction of Dracula/Orlok as having become an insatiable pervert after being locked away in his castle for hundreds of years. Story felt a bit sparse but aesthetic seemed more the point.

My 2nd all time favourite vampire movie and in my top 10 films of all time. Such a beautiful movie with a great story line.

I appreciate that this is the speaking and colour version of the original movie so it made the story make more sense to me. I didn’t find it to be scary or creepy but I do really enjoy the story.

oh oh..I FEEL BAD FOR DRACULA?? that’s such a turn of events but yeah. i really enjoyed this adaptation

would like to rate this between a meh and a like. very nice gothic cinematography and soundtrack. mesmerizing lucy. i like this as a work of art but not as much as a watch because of the play-like acting which i personally am not the biggest fan of. 6.4/10

Werner Herzog tells the story of ‘Dracula’, in the style of ‘Nosferatu’ and adds his own twist to the story. Good one.

a gorgeous retelling of nosferatu, and in my opinion improves upon the original! the gothic cinematography mixed with the decadence of each actor in their character creates a beautiful dreamy nightmare that constantly feels like it could be a painting (also watch the german one!)

Ngl, he’s more like a pale dude with a weird illness in this movie

such a beautiful film, i absolutely admire werner herzog’s directive style and vision, shooting cleanly with beautiful scenes and use of natural light. isabelle adjani brilliantly leads, haunting and enchanting always. quite a remake

an amazing film. the acting is amazing & the story is ok. i loved the actress for mina harker & count dracula.
