A piece of history and it must be respected as such. Creepy for its age and count orlok still kinda gives me the heebeejeebees. I mean I could say it’s boring bc it’s a silent film but cmon. Judge it based on when it came out yk. Btw free on YouTube!

Insane movie, Nosferatu is such an icon for getting so powerful that he caused stop motion telekinesis

9/10 A classic (literally), every vampire film and modern day lore originates from this film. I adore silent films in general but this one is one of my favorites. A goth’s essential that can be described as nothing less than wonderful! If you like vampires this is a must see!!

torture for me watching this movie, towards the middle it wasn’t bad, the 20min left or so was goodi get it because how it was before aint how it is now

still it was nice that i got to watch this movie with my dog (she was actually watching it and i wish i could upload a pic)

So cool to see how far cinematography has progressed since silent films like this.

What a glorious beginning to the age of gothic tales. Seeing this film for the first time was an experience that I could never expect. The work put into this film is something I applaud. The acting,set, production,prosthetics and overall admiration to the craft of suspenseful horror is something I love. F.W. Murnau truly set the bar high for vampire films for decades to come.

Best movie ever

A horror classic that every film buff must see. It’s one of the most chilling films ever made. 9/10

2/5 Classic but not for me

A classic of German silent cinema that we watch in our film class. It’s very similar to Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula (1897). To make Nosferatu, the filmmakers had to change some of the characters to avoid being sued for copyright infringement.

A story about an old hungry man moving to a new home

honestly what a blast from the past i’m glad we have movies like this to show what it was like in early cinema so simple but so much to be shown for i liked this a lot and think every thriller/ horror lover needs to watch this

it’s not the best, but judging a 1922 silent film by 2026 standards feels unfair. respect ur elders!!

also, the shot of Nosferatu carrying around that coffin through the town when he’s trying to be sneaky is hilarious.
