I feel like these movies with laughably bad acting and writing hit the sweet spot for some people, but for me, it just means I can watch in the back ground. The premise was fine but the story for it was extremely cheesy and predictable with some annoying character decisions.

I love original and completely out-there ideas. To have an airborne plane crash and sink underwater is great, but to have the people survive, and carry on surviving with sharks? Absolutely not. The writing quality became glaringly clear and after 30 mins of it, I had to turn it off. Not only that but the 1 dimensional acting was painful. I don't know how this was done but to me, it just seems completely careless. Just watch 'Snakes on a Plane' instead, the enjoyability ratio is a lot higher.

No way should you waste your time with it. Drags quite a bit. Don’t like most of the characters and the back stories seem pointless. Suspense is nil. Meh just because the main actress and little girl and grandparents were good.

Most sharks are not dangerous to humans — people are not part of their natural diet. Despite their scary reputation, sharks rarely ever attack humans and would much rather feed on fish and marine mammals.

the idea was awesome, but they could have done it way better through making countless details more logical.

This had a promising start and was setting up to be a very fun kind of cheesy. But then it just got…bad.
The level of disbelief I had to suspend was just far too high for this genre. For example… you ever held your breath and simply tried swim underwater for even just 25 meters? Yeah…
The specific fantastical solution I imagined didn’t happen, and my one idea could have saved this as fun cheesy. Too bad!
