I feel weird criticizing a film based on a tragic story, but this was awful. Could’ve been an interesting slow burn thriller but instead was basic, and poorly acted without a trace of subtlety. Framing as testimony could’ve been interesting but fails dud to the lack of commitment

Based on a true story. Shannen Doherty plays the mom perfectly. Have to see the 90s version now with Candace Cameron.
