A great movie with lots of heart and great animation. The LGBT representation is not shoved in but made the central point for the plot to move forward. The animation is so unique and fun but some of the script is really bland. Grace Moretz is great here. An AWESOME time.

Made me violently sob and rip all of my hair out of my head.
Grasped my organs in a firm hold, tearing them out of my chest with the blunt force of its intensity, blended those organs up and shoved its smoothie of organs and raw emotions down my throat.

I can’t believe I got to see the book I loved when I was younger turn into a movie. also lovers to enemies to lovers is quite literally the best trope to exist. Banger soundtrack, amazing character design, made me sob, thats like all the boxes for being a great fucking movie

IT’S AMAZING!! I highly recommend giving this movie a chance! The animation style is amazing and the story has a good balance of serious tones and humor! If you’re on the fence, then definitely give this a watch!

Wait…why was this so awesome?? Just a really fun 90 minutes (don’t let the run time fool you, literally 17 minutes of credits are budgeted into what’s listed). Animation is sweet, premise is cool, easy to follow. Shout out @donny for the rec

8.9 - what a beautiful, METAL, film. Animation is unique & fun. Story is humorous, heartfelt, chaotic, layered, & emotional. It has deep & big themes presented carefully for young audiences making it approachable. It is everything Wish wishes it was. Disney dropped the ball.

I really adore it😭😭 the jokes are funny, nimona is funny and cute, she needs help, but the gay part🤦🏻 totally not necessary, the ending is cute ngl. This movie deserves a 10/8, but for the gay part 10/1.

Give us more queer stories like this!! This was so much fun to watch, and despite the major changes from the graphic novel, the core of the story is still strong. Loved the mix of fantasy and modern day elements. Music was superb. One of my fave animated films this year.

9/10 This movie absolutely floored me. Surprised is an understatement. The writing, voice acting, and story were amazing. Nimona and Ballister have fantastic chemistry and are amazing characters. Hidden gem that’s funny but also very dark and serious. Highly recommend

To me I just felt unsure where this was going. I attempted to watch this the first time and couldn’t get over the first 20 minutes. Tried again recently and then pushed through. Was my type of film but others may like it.
