No. What was the point of this movie? Why did I watch it? I still do not know.

One of the cutest kid scary movies me and my son have saw in awhile. Definitely recommend

I don’t remember why I didn’t like this but on Netflix I had it disliked

It’s obvious this was based off of a book, and I can see the potential of what the author was trying to create. This is definitely a soft launch into horror for kids, it is not your typical spooky Halloween fun.
However, this movie does suck, I wanted to like it and tried really hard to get invested. The pacing was off/rushed, and the chemistry wasn’t there with the two main characters until the very last scene. The concepts/world building was very cool but poorly executed to where it became tacky and confusing. Not something I’ll be watching again, but who knows you may like it.

Definitely more for kids than for me. It’s fine, easy to watch, but not that engaging. There’s a cool idea underneath it all, just not executed in a way that really lands. Feels like wasted potential more than anything.

Just got done watching the night book’s thought it was a interesting scary genre about all the fairytales you know as a kid but I would say I would not recommend this to younger kids young adult adults young teens are fine, but are we getting 2?
