too mean-spiritedly sexual for my taste, the demons weren’t even that cool, there were some sequences i liked but overall just didn’t have fun with it, i’m super happy rodger survived though especially with the racist tropes 80s horror usually has, it was a nice change

i mean it wasn’t anything special, but at least i wasn’t bored

I liked this one quite a bit but my lord was the main character ANNOYING

80’s horror gold

A sleazier Evil Dead mixed with a splash of The Craft and Resident Evil 1 camera angles. This one lives up to its cult classic word of mouth. Also s/o to having Black character, but also an Asian. Rare, but even rarer knowing the Black guy doesn't die first.

Very underrated film IMO. peak 80's horror and everything you expect in it. loved the makeup of the demons especially

However, that final scene before the credits rolled is incredible.

I watch this every Halloween season. I'm a sucker for 80s/90s horror. Another I saw in theaters. Great practical effects, and decent story. Acting is a bit sub par. Fun watch.

Fun concept with terrible execution.
Possibly the worst film that I’ve ever seen.

That opening was so good with that score! I give this extra credit for being one of the very few movies that actually terrified me as a kid. It's obviously not that bad now, but it's still a fun ride.

Plot potential, but the writing took me out of it too many times. Some good unintended laughs, though
