Next Goal Wins

The Samoan culture and music was amazing. But they literally built 2 characters throughout the whole movie. They needed to put less time In Jaya and more time into the whole team.

My second watch and this film was even better. It’s a film about grief and getting a second chance. Michael Fassbender is fantastic and its well directed. Super underrated movie.

i just love taika waititi movies, great story and the fact that it was real makes everything better, such a funny film with great reflexions

Good enough

Lighthearted and funny with a strong sense of community. Fassbender felt a bit over the top, but the story was charming, if predictable. Samoa’s laid-back vibe was a highlight. Worth watching for fans of Taika Waititi or feel-good underdog stories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
