8.0 - some jokes don’t hold up, Chevy Chase is unlikable irl, it’s choppy. But there’s so much nostalgia & holiday spirit wrapped up in it I can’t help but enjoy myself every watch. Ridiculous slapstick humor, endless quotes, & general relatability will keep me coming back yearly

I watch this yearly, one of my top 3 Christmas movies, and the rant about his boss is just iconic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone
