guess it’s just not for me. I watched the whole thing and yet I could never get into it. I kind of just watched it and it ended. I have no thoughts on it. really payed attention to every little thing I could too. kinda bummed that I didn’t get a single thing out of it. i’m sure I would seeing this for the fist time in a theater in 1975 though. definitely possible to like this more on rewatch in some years

Lovely pictorial of the faults of southern kindness, and the LA-ification of the Country Music Genre. God, a little too real with that ending, especially how the audience just keeps deciding to have fun instead of actually fucking facing reality
