It’s an unusual true-story adaptation of the 1930s Isle of Man “talking mongoose” case. The premise is interesting, yet the pacing can feel restrained compared to its weird subject matter.

This movie was…wild. It was certainly interesting. Fascinating that so many people wanted to get this story told and this movie made for it to actually happen. It was certainly something. (Geff’s voice may haunt my nightmares. (Funny not funny 😂))

A solid movie, not great but well made overall. Why did it receive a 54/100 from Metacritic? Who knows, but it certainly isn’t deserved.

I love Simon Peggs stuff but tf was with the awful accent and why was the movie so god awful

Really boring film. Weird and pretty stupid. Had to watch it in three parts as I couldn’t stand Simon Peggs accent and the boring plot.
The performances from Pegg, Driver and Lloyd are all fine.

a convoluted message about belief in the spiritual and afterlife that watches Simon pegg have a break down in a story that should have been 45 mins

Couldn't really get into it. Good acting so far as I've seen. I probably will try and watch it all the way through again, just wasn't feeling it at the moment.

the first half was interesting, bizarre, and comedic. the last half was absolute shit. do not recommend
