Mufasa: The Lion King

WHAT YOU SAY BOUT MA BROTHA

Loving the villain origin stories that have been coming out these past years. They weren’t all born wicked!

Unexpectedly really really good. Worth watching it, because not only Mufasa gets a cool origin story, but also Scar.

watched against my will so my mind was already biased against it

It does fall into a few typical prequel traps by trying to explain a piece of lore nobody asked for, but if you just enjoy it for the visuals, emotional moments, and gorgeous world-building, it’s a super cozy watch that holds your interest.
