Tye Sheridan as Ellis is probably one of the best child performances I’ve seen. What is a story of crime & unconventional friendships ultimately is a story of love. Ellis sees how the male figures in his life respond & act towards love in different ways. Great coming of age.

I loved this movie so much as a kid, I thought the acting was phenomenal. The story in this movie is so raw and unique, it is very emotional and very entertaining
