Now i think this movie is brilliant a rape revenge movie needs to be treated with respect with the sensitivity subject matter and i think it does it brilliantly showing her press and how it changes her throughout the movie while not losing all her humanity 10/10 (16)

I honestly thought this was a bloody good watch! ❤️ For such a low-budget film, I thought it was amazing and I was really impressed by how well it managed to tell its story.

I was especially impressed by the female lead. She doesn’t speak at all, yet she manages to make you feel everything she’s feeling through her expressions, body language and actions. She was incredible and carried so much of the film without saying a single word.

I also thought it was a really good revenge story, especially considering it came out in 1981 and was one of the early female-led revenge films of its kind. I really enjoyed watching her transformation throughout the film and seeing how the story unfolded.

I was also surprised to find out that a couple of the female actresses haven’t really been in anything else since. I honestly thought they were really good, so it’s crazy to think we didn’t get to see more from them.

Definitely not what I expected going into it, but I’m really glad I watched it. A bloody good watch, especially for a low-budget film! ❤️

If the should-be comical aspect of this film is that Thana encounters too many dirty men in one night is actually the most believable thing, you know society is fucked.

Thana did nothing wrong. She's the hero this world needs.

It kind of reminded me of "Death Wish" in the sense that she got a taste of killing and then went seeking it out in the night. We've seen the rape revenge genre done plenty of times, but I think this one is a bit more effective since it's got an exploitation look to it.
