Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

The thing about this film that blew me away was that I didn’t see it until almost 100 years after it came out and the issues discussed in the film are STILL happening in today’s congress.

7.5/10

Easily one of Stewart's best performances, or maybe his best, from what I've seen from him, unsure yet. He was perfect for this role, balancing his comedic timing and drama. Jean Arthur’s transition from her attitude towards his character was perfect as well as her speech.

This movie needs to play on loop until people learn how to start acting civil and decent again, fuck it’s refreshing to see a politician stand for what’s right instead of what’s convenient
