why is this actually good?

I remember there being a scene of the dog licking peanut butter for a unnecessary amount of time but then I watched it back and it wasn’t there biggest disappointment ever

I Remember liking this as a child but rewatching it I just don’t feel like it was great. Sherman and Peabody had a cute relationship and the jokes were corny but cute I just feel like I wouldn’t watch it again. Penny pissed me off.

Very entertaining and very stupid. I suppose that’s part of its charm.

this is a fun, heartwarming children's movie with a clever concept—retelling historical events through a talking dog and a boy. i haven't watched it since i was young, and it isn't particularly memorable, but it has humor and charm, with its sweet relationships and creative idea.
