Incompetence and poor communication was pretty thick. I get a depressed period but the house was in tatters. Not nostalgic about it.

Favorite Michael Keaton performance. An absolute classic and incredible encapsulation of the 1980s.

Keaton carries it with charm, and for a light '80s comedy, it works.

I cannot emphasize enough how great this movie is. Funny and heartwarming and the perfect look at life in the 80s.👍🏻👍🏻

John Hughes movies are REALLY hit or miss with me. This one just screamed 80s suburbia. In the worst way. Not all that funny or entertaining. Pretty mid.

6.5/10 Classic 1980s comedy that’s makes fun of stay at home dads without relying too heavily on misogyny. I didn’t like the ending but I tend to feel that way about films. It is a super overdone story/trope but I still enjoyed it. Though I wouldn’t watch again.

Another absolutely hilarious and touching movie written by the great John Hughes about his own experiences being a stay at home dad.

This movie was good not what I was expecting though.
