Makes ruby seem much better than she actually is. Just doesn’t really show how terrible they were to the kids

I don’t even know what to say; I only found out about this story when they were arrested and there was a media frenzy. It’s truly shocking how Ruby let Jodi change her so drastically. I get that cults can brainwash people, but to put your kids in that situation and treat them like that is something I just can’t comprehend.

I hadn’t seen Heather Locklear in anything for ages, so it’s nice to see her back on screen, even if it’s just in a Lifetime movie.

Emilie Ullerup nailed her role; she was totally believable and you could really see her evolve into a completely different person throughout the film. So much so that I don’t think she recognized herself by the end.

4/10 the actors weren’t close, it felt like a hallmark movie tbh
