okay this is a genuine review. i love love LOVE this film. cher and nick cage in a movie were all i could have ever asked for. there’s comedy there’s romance there’s drama and of course ITALIANS idk but this is just an amazing film and it never gets old. 10/10 pls watch.

performances are incredible, i felt like i was just watching people go about their day to day lives, the writing was so witty, the drama sucked me in and i fell in love with how they told the stories about love, a beautiful film

I’m too gay for this movie. Too many men being terrible. Cher slayed and looked incredibly sexy, but the whole thing was just Nicholas Cage throwing a tantrum. He literally freaked the fuck out then declared he was in love with her and she just fell for him??? Couldn’t be me.

A terrific romcom with a great story.


This film was funnier and more emotional than I expected it to be. The story was terrific, the characters were amazing, and the performances were excellent. The use of the song “That’s Amore” was fantastic as well. Cher was superb.

Nic Cage steals the show

I really wanted to love it, but it was just okay. Moved too slow at first, then too fast. Not enough substance of a love story between Ronny & Loretta. 4/10

SUCH a romantic movie, and cher is so FUCKING SEXY AND GORGEOUS!! i don’t remember much ab the plot besides it’s funny, cher is literally the best, italians are amazing, and this movie is a worth watch. easygoing summer perusing

Cher was fine asf and I cry everytime I watch this movie I love it. I’m angry I didn’t grow up in an Italian family in New York during the 70s like damn😞

I wouldn't lie, I expected more after seeing Cher as the main character. but the cheating trope ruined it aside from the way they didn't know each other at all before sleeping together less than one day after meeting.
