I watched this when it came out. It’s definitely good but not a movie. I’d watch again.

Halle berry sheesh

Oh brother, the racist cop falls in love with a POC woman trope. Despite the controversial romance, Halle Berry’s performance almost brought me to tears. She played a broken character very well. It’s a polarizing watch but if it had a different ending, I may have loved this.

Great performance by Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton but - did this have to be the movie she won an Oscar for?

Pretty good movie but the ending was confusing

White Savior starring Halle Berry.

So shallow, characters never really developed it just all happened. Acting wasn’t great either imo, it’s like the meme of white men yelling gets them the acting Oscar, if you show big emotion you get awarded for it. Very white savior and seems more like a tragedy

This film was amazing. Halle Berry deserves that Oscar. Surprisingly, I can't think of anything to criticize this film for.
