The love is out of respect and amazement for the entire creative team. This is not enjoyable but man what a film and what a performance that put Theron on the map.

why did this make me cry

Charlize Theron is unrecognizable and pulls you in. She definitely deserved the Oscar for this one. Christina Ricci was an amazing supporting actress. The subject matter is very dark because it follows the true story of serial killer, Aileen Wuornos; But you can’t look away.

Watching this and feeling empathy towards the killer made this film for me.

A interesting serial killer film based on a true story and it stands out because it’s about one of the most infamous female serial killers in american history. Overall the actress that played her looked unrecognizable in the role. A truly remarkable performance.
