7/10 didn’t understand the end, it made no sense to me

Slow burn scifi mystery, with a familiar ending. Overall I thought the film was well done and the mystery of the “black brick” was intriguing. Also liked the inclusion of podcasting and how it was built into the story.The ending ripped off Annihilation, but still satisfying 7/10

Mixed feelings

This really just could have been a podcast.
It starts off unique and interesting, slowly burning its way to an explanation. Only, the gimmick wears off very quickly. I'd recommend it as a background movie but you need to listen to what's happening. Otherwise, your head will spin back and forth with the stories you zone in and out of. The mystery and horror is fine, but the low budget and lack of intrigue knocked me off course. In other words, this could have been minimised into a 10-minute short story. For its budget it's great, but as a movie it doesn't work.

Well paced, well filmed, the idea is creative and unique, the story building was very successful. You learn so much about all of the characters even when not explained deeply. Definitely recommend!

Very uneasy, and unsettling. Amazingly directed, the cinematography is emasculate.
