a slow burn, but well worth the wait!! Folk Horror done right!

Very well paced movie, but you’ll definitely need a rewatch if you are left with questions. Moloch embraces Dutch folk horror, cults, and its suspenseful moments. I always enjoys movies that add in pieces to the puzzles in just the right ways, this movie is undoubtedly good.

This is an interesting cursed lineage tale. It sets its lore up through the first half of the movie. The final portion is delivering on the details of that curse. It’s well crafted. Very much worth a watch.

I absolutely loved this film. Despite its slow burn, the chills are effective and keep you guessing. Once you get the reveal, you can’t help but think about it beyond the movie’s end.
