Mirrors

im still scared of mirrors because of this movie

My boyfriends (he doesn’t know that he is my boyfriend) dad recommended it to me, I’m not looking in mirrors any time soon

6/10 way too fucking long

Solid tension, really great makeup, and the bathtub sister scene is a standout

Brilliant, I absolutely loved it. When I was a kid, I was also scared of mirrors—and I hadn’t even watched this, so maybe that’s for the best, hahahaha.

The plot has some genuinely disturbing moments, but the mythology gets messy & the film relies on graphic shocks more than a consistently gripping mystery. Sutherland gives a troubled edge that fits the story, while the burned department store creates an unsettling atmosphere.
