Wow js wow. A rewatch and it's growing on me more and more.
One of the best opening scenes of all time oh my god, I wanna get the whole scene framed in pictures and put it above my bed so I can admire it every day. Honestly not js that scene, THE WHOLE DAMN FILM.

Stunning cinematography. Beautiful color palette. I was mesmerized by the scenes of this film, but I was lost for the majority of it. I struggled to find anything to anchor on to. Moves at a slow pace and aimlessly at times. I’ll have to rewatch this someday.

Not a bad movie but it didn’t resonate with me whatsoever.
I had no idea wha was happening — no idea what it was trying to say. The visuals were nice but not as nice as Rublev / Stalker. The visuals weren’t enough to me my attention & there was very limited dialogue of interest

This was a very emotional, poetic, and romantic movie to me. There were quite a few things I didn't quite understand, at least on a first watch, but I think that's okay with this film. It reads more artistically driven than story driven, and it's very beautiful.

Ambiguous and convincing movie at the same time. For me it was the inundation of thoughts provoked by subconsciousness. Like in an actual mirror, one can capture different reflection of themselves. Every single scene can be put into the frame and be called art work.

The greatest film of all time. An absolute timeless and unprecedented masterpiece that will live on until the end of time. The Great Андрей Арсеньевич Тарковский has truly surpassed the constricting limits of cinema, showing us what is the peak of the art form. 1 Billion/10.

A crushing exploration of life, Mirror is Tarkovsky at his finest. The story is told best when there’s no dialogue. The stunning mixture of visuals and music results in something best described as “visual poetry” which is stunning, beautiful and tragic all at once. 9.5/10

Idk what to feel about this but if you touch the movie with just it shows , no inner meaning and ... , it's an very nice poetic movie - but if you seek for hidden meanings you will not find it and will not going to love it though

Its style is completely different from the cinema we are used to, which makes it stand out. There were moments where I felt a bit bored, but when I revisited those scenes through his perspective, they gained a different meaning (it's his autobiography).

what a complex poem of a film with so many layers pieced together in such a thoughtful manner. the way this work of art bridges so many themes while managing to grasp that life has meaning, is so impeccable and so beautiful.

such an incredible and complex film, definitely not always easy to digest and understand but always magical with its immensely unique form of storytelling and symbolism. perfect writing, imagery, and performances, a miracle project that is truly one-of-a-kind

While Tarkovsky is a master of his shots he needs to work on his storytelling as the characters aren’t captivating and the story leads you nothing to hold on to. It’s a very hard watch with it being in a different language and it’s very slowly paced overall 7.4/10
