This movie needs to be seen by any sci fi and or crime lover …. I’ll be incredibly honest - this movie towards the end had me in the feels… when it came out 21 years ago i was too young to appreciate it- I’m glad i gave it a second chance- adding it to the collection

How am I just now seeing this?? Banger, story/premise is awesome. Swing and a miss with the futuristic stuff, half was future/half was regular 2002 didn’t like it and the futuristic CGI was horrendous. TC was awesome per usual. Great twist and shock at the end

Very interesting concept set in the future. Being a Criminal Justice major it made me see it becoming a possibility in the future.

7/10 Personally wasn’t crazy about this movie. I can see the vision it has a great concept and has a great plot twist. However this movie was just a little too slow for me but I managed to like it since there were some cool scenes in it.

Really great flick. Fascinating story and concepts, gripping twists and turns. Redemptive ending too. Rewatch notes in comments.

8/10 - Great film, really liked it. At some points it’s a bit slow and lacks rhythm, but other than that it’s great. The concept is really fascinating and fits the sci-fi genre perfectly. No Spielberg film is bad. Can’t complain with the John Williams score either. Tom is great.

Been a min but I liked this movie. Sci-fi at its best questioning the ethics and morals of technology, science, human rights... When it comes to science and tech, remember: Just because we CAN doesn’t mean we SHOULD.

Really fun movie to watch

Really cool concept with mostly solid execution. It’s just a bit on the bland side for me with its plot and characters. 7/10

Film’s tech swings from advanced to absurd, but as a surveillance dystopia it works — bleak, cyberpunk, and uncomfortably close to reality. The twist is predictable yet compelling. Dated cgi. Fun causal paradoxes which i’m always a fan of in time travel stories.

i liked it, it has potential but so confusing 7.5/10

Smart and thought provoking themes. The film’s biggest strength is its exploration of free will vs. determinism and surveillance. I’m not a huge fan of Spielberg’s direction but I like the futuristic atmosphere he creates.
