This movie is so fucking good! Mildred's only mistake was spoiling her kid far too much, but goddamn, I didn't expect Veda to be a straight up villain basically. Joan Crawford is superb as expected, but the whole cast did a fantastic job. Great blind buy from the Criterion sale!

I love this film. I had a high expectations going in knowing it was a classic especially Joan Crawford and it did not disappoint it was filled with twist, drama, betrayal, mother and daughter angst. It was like mummy dearest almost though I haven’t seen that. expectations met
