Decent movie but I just thought it was very dull at times - it was a really good depiction of the event though with good acting and I liked the fact that it including the Japanese point of view of the battle - overall interesting movie about a critical event in World War 2

One of the better war movies I’ve watched. The movie made us care about the characters and their families too.

I was invested the entire 2 hours

On Film 4 today 31/01/26. Rewatched couldn’t remember first time round (over 15 yrs ago). Great Film, great actors, great cinematography 7.5/10. Some brilliant minds on and off the battlefield (sea/Air) involved in this war👍

Eventful, great cast, and super entertaining. Crazy that this is real. Little long, but just gave back story to the actual story and the characters.

The best movie I’ve ever watched

I can’t believe how bad this movie is. The CGI is terrible and the dialogue/ acting is pathetic and feels like a skit directed by 8 year olds.

It’s a not the best war flick but it isn’t the worst either. Story is decent but the cadence was kinda weird. Acting left something to be desired. It’s not a bad watch but I wouldn’t go out of my way.
