Sometimes in life when you will inevitably have to chose to sacrifice your boyfriend or a random hargan, you chose your boyfriend. And said boyfriend is then put into the corpse of a bear and burned alive. It’s just how the cookie crumbles. 🤷🏻

Some things just are better kept in your head. A lot of this film will stay with me for the rest of my life and I wish I never saw it. It’s truly mind bending. Beautifully casted, acted and shot but it’s just not mentally ok.

this movie should’ve won an oscar. florence pughs acting, incredible. the way they take and portray how people who are mentally ill and easy to manipulate is phenomenal. also how they tell the story of this cult i can’t even put into words. this is my favorite movie of all time.

interesting how this movie warns the audience about the dangers of cults yet i would rather join the damn “Hårgas” than to have watch this movie again ♥️ well at least the visuals are lovely

Midsommar is something else, I think the elegance and purity, femininity etc the location costuming and perception of the cult etc is perfect for the gore and deception that comes later in the film

This movie was filmed beautifully but it disgusted me in so many ways, please don’t watch this movie it will stay with you forever. It’s EXTREMELY gruesome and just not ok. Whoever thought this movie was a great idea needs some therapy.

the visuals, colours and shots of this movie are perfection. the plot is also extremely interesting, and i’m honestly obsessed with florence pugh’s acting.
however, some scenes were pretty concerning and just VERY weird, i’d like a few words with the writers.
