Midnight Cowboy Reviews

I open my mouth and people see this guy

There’s many different things you could take away from this film, and for me it’s that we are all trying our best, even though life may give us a sh*t lot. Maybe success doesn’t really exist without having people in our life that represent love.

Great story. Hoffman is so good you forget who he is.

Love in every single way. Horrific story! I could die beautiful

I lost interest in the second half. The resemblance between jon voight and brad pitt is really eerie

Other than the famous line "Hey, I'm walkin' here!" delivered by Dustin Hoffman, I knew absolutely nothing about this film. Unfortunately, that was probably the best part of this film. Now I can say I've finally seen this, but I can almost guarantee I won't see it again.

The best darn tootin’ move you’ll ever see, also, the editing is absolutely stellar

3.5/5 pretty sad

The dream sequences in this are interesting on a rewatch lots of foreshadowing with each one.

ugh I love them sm

Tbh, this didn't need Dustin Hoffman's character. The film could've focused on Jon Voight's character solo and used his flashbacks to play a bigger part in his development. Anyways, they both gave good performances, and it's still a great film.

Classic Hoffman performance, this one is a downer but a great, classic movie

good for the time

Unlikely pair of troubled pasts. Both performances were daring. Exceptional imagery and editing. Uniquely dramatic and tragic, yet comedic.

9/10

I’m walking hea

Good cult classic that has a very iconic line which film I didn’t know it came from before watching this. The line being I’m walking here! I’m walking here!

No thank you.

Was alright I’d say, best part was the “I’m walking here” overall it was meh

Best Picture Oscar winner 1970 (42nd Academy Awards)
My Rating: 3/10

Nominated for 6 Oscar’s and won 3. HATED this movie! This is the only X-rated film to win Best Picture and an Oscar. This movie is horrible and I don’t get why people like it. It gives me the creeps and the only good that came from this movie is Dustin Hoffman’s iconic line, “I’m walking here!”
