Steeped in metaphors that are beautifully implied - but nothing at all “explicit”. If you like movies that make you think long afterwards this would be a good watch for you. It’s scary but definitely not a horror film. This is a “book club” type movie. @alexarthur would like

This has to be the worst movie, I have ever seen in my entire life. Looked like it was going somewhere and then fell apart with no ending or resolution. The Plot sucked, characters sucked, and even the filming sucked. Tried to be super deep, but instead made absolutely no sense!!

Underrated horror masterpiece

This movie was absolutely awful. I get that it’s about the patriarchy and all that but damn. Good suspense in the beginning, set up for a good horro flick, then completely ruined in the last 30 mins. Typical a24. Idk how people like this stuff. 3/10

one of the most unsatisfying movies i’ve seen this year. had some high expectations for this movie and it was all ruined by the last 30 minutes of this movie. even though it had some of the best cinematography, it was ruined by the writing process. but, great acting by Rory K.

Men is an elementary look at what it’s like to live as a woman in the 21st century. It’s an underwhelming, simplistic take on the very real violence that women face, packaged in a nonsensical, edgy indie format. But not really my style.

Lots of metaphors and symbolism that took me way too long to understand. Other than that it was an alright film, the message they were portraying could’ve been done in a better way for people like me who aren’t reading too much into it. It’s also very gorey not my vibe.still good

Maybe some people will enjoy it. One of my friends did. But not me and not the people I went watching it with. I love odd movies that makes you a bit uncomfortable, but Men is extreme, it’s a bit hard to follow at some moment and the ending will give you nightmares. Beware ⚠️

overhated for no reason

I liked this more than I thought I would. The interpretation of this film I liked the most was the endless cycle of toxic men and the toxic traits they carry. Had me entertained the whole time and the ending scene was crazy!

Gore good but plot wise sucks

Mi era stato detto fosse bello, ma non lo è. Tanti simbolismi, metafore e seghe mentali varie condite da ansia e un po’ di splatter.
Immagino che ad alcuni possa piacere, io mi sento insoddisfatta soprattutto perché non mi è chiaro al 100%.

the build up was good and beautiful! but the end is fucked & not in a good way 😭honestly i’d get if they did it once but it almost became comedic…it could’ve been amazing, but falls flat in its own meaning! in the nicest way possible i knew the director was a man b4 looking 2.3/5

not what it seemed. very haunting

This was very weird. Very good cinematography and suspense in the first half of the movie. But the ending… WTF💀

I like the concept, but I think it could’ve been executed better. Otherwise, the film has excellent cinematography & some decent tension. It lost me a bit in the third act, as things became abstract. Similar to “i’m thinking of ending things” (2020) in terms of abstraction.

a24 horror is something so different from any other horror.

I had to watch this movie a couple of times. The meaning behind every scene is what makes it spectacular. Watching this from a woman's perspective and tone makes it a cult classic. Yes, it’s out there but overall one of my favorite.

I was not expecting to absolutely LOVE this but I did. Huge commentary on toxic masculinity and this idea that a wife/woman should be subservient to the opinions and feelings of men. That men will expect a cycle and role for a women and if they don’t comply they will force it
