i liked the cinematography, i just find the age gap between chiyo and that man weird

Also, if they really wanted to make an authentic movie, it should’ve been in Japanese… It would’ve been more enjoyable

Would’ve put it in loved if it weren’t for the english and the love story

my favorite movie

I don’t understand why people find the age gap so weird. This movie is beautiful and has more or less historical accuracy. So the age gap is simply part of the history and how it was back then. Beautiful cinematography, good characters and pacing. Would recommend to watch it.
