Memento

This by no means a bad film. The twists and turns as the story unfolds proves that. However, the tone of the film isn’t very exciting. It didn’t keep me as engaged as I hoped it would. There’s were moments where I felt tired because the story felt like it was going nowhere.

This was really highly rated and a 2x Oscar-nominated memory thriller. It has a lot of flash backs and forth for me.

WTF??!! what an ending!!

Memento is really a fantastic journey. The story concept itself is very interesting, but the effect of having the scenes play our in reverse sequence is truly genius. Memento gives you a bunch of disconnected puzzle pieces, and invites you as the observer to put everything together yourself. And if you keep digging, there is a LOT of small detail hidden in the film. It's really not for people who just turn their brains off. Fantastic performances all around. The atmosphere really makes you feel trapped with these characters, and that is something very special.
