Meet the Fockers

There’s a reason why you can go into any goodwill in America and find at least three copies of meet the Fockers on DVD.

Mediocre sequel but a decent standalone. The main thing I thought this was missing was the 'gone wrong' style escalation that made the first. There are still plenty of those moments. However, they seem more forced and don't really build on each other. The constant crude jokes, the nonsensical plot lines, and the overwhelming dialogue. Like with the insane casting, it's all just a little too much. I don't know how this dodged the R rating either, as it's not the sort of 'family' film I'd be watching with my family. Then again, I'm not a Focker.

How many times did they have to re-shoot a scene because they were cracking up?
