It's adorable. I love Judy Garland. She's a treasure and one of the most radiant on screen personas in history.

it's a good film, but when the younger girl was crying about moving away, oh, that guy to me. 😭

i think it was fine, like a sweet musical, sweet family and a depiction of life at this time. but also like that scene of the kids burning furniture?? why was that allowed?? loved the end with warren bursting in proposing/demanding him and rose marry

I thought this was not going to be up my alley, but then they started talking about murder and death, and suddenly I enjoyed every minute of this! Seriously though, it was a lovely watch with great characters and colors.

I’m not a huge fan of musicals but I am a fan of warm, cozy Christmas classics like this. It’s also just fascinating to see what it looked like to serve cunt in the 1940’s.

I’m actually so mad that I haven’t seen this sooner. An absolute legend of a movie that must be watched at least once a year I do declare! A beautiful, hilarious, and heartfelt tale that would prob be canceled 4 mmnts today but I like to think it’s a classic bop for everyone 🎡🌂👒
