Reneé Rapp and Auli’i Cravalho were so freaking hot in this movie!!! I love them both to death and their vocals were just…TOP TIER!!!

As a fan of the musical I found the first half pretty dull. Didn’t like the instrumental changes to some of the songs especially Cady’s. Her’s started to give 2013-2016 ukulele covers. Once we get to the revenge plan on Regina it picks up a lot and I had a fun time!

Okay this was maybe the worst movie I’ve ever watched

Gay panic throughout the whole movie. Reneé is my fav artist so obviously I’m gonna love it. I’m also a musical theater kid so that’s another reason for me to love it. The songs are SO good! The original is better though. 8/10

Would have been so much better if it wasn't a musical. I gave it a chance, and by the end, I felt so much wasted potential. There was like one decent song that didn't irritate me after the first line, but other than that, it was decent. The ratio changes, colour usage, acting, casting, script, was great. If you're into musicals, you'll love this, if your not, you might want some earplugs.

I think the beginning is a bit stiff and like they were holding back. I think the fix to this would be cutting Cady’s first song and bringing back ‘Where do you Belong’. But, once you get to ‘Sexy’ they let loose, and it’s a blast!! The meta jokes were amazing!!!

Ok so I knew this was a musical…but didn’t realize it was like a MUSICAL musical. Just found out this is a Broadway show and this is pretty much a port.

Nothing special but worth a watch for free on paramount+ if you enjoyed the OG movie and need something to watch

i wanted to love it but it was just ok. as a diehard stan of the og movie and the musical, it just felt like they tried too hard to appeal to new audiences rather than others like myself, and it ended up just not translating well either way. but Queen Renee ate, as always.

I wouldn’t watch this again but not bc of the music the music wasn’t even bad except for cady I didn’t really like cadys voice but bc none of the cast were like attractive to me and they all dressed really bad but like the hate against music was weird bc it wasn’t even bad

Although it doesn’t quite touch the original, it has surprisingly been 20 years and so much has changed since then and this version seems to fit in well and strikes the right note for multiple generations.

So bad! Don’t waste your time watching it. Ik most people didn’t know it was a musical and that’s why they didn’t like it but I knew it was a musical. The songs were bad and you couldn’t understand what they were saying. The casting was horrendous and only good part was Conrad
