Mazes and Monsters Reviews

Big “meh” of a movie, Mazes and Monsters tries to be a cautionary tale about the “dangers” of fantasy role-playing, made during the Satanic Panic era when D&D was seen as devilry. Low-budget, overly dramatic and a bummer ending. It had an interesting idea but poor execution.

I was expecting it to be a little like goonies
Like with inside jokes and people just having fun.
Also there’s a part where Tom hanks get his mic crushed and they leave it in the audio which I was disappointed.
But I mean it was film in 80s so idk
