one very good american & an ex KGB russian agent take on the soviet union while listening to bruce springsteen.

truly made me smile when the credits rolled out.

haven’t felt this happy after watching a film in a while.

the cinematography is so so beautiful. loved every camera shot & composition

the soundtrack & score are ofc phenomenal.

ryan & keneth are hilarious together, great chemistry between them. truly enjoyed watching them perform, brought some great laughs out of me.

well done apple. once again dominating the tv & film industry.

Way better than expected.The acting was great & the characters were so likeable. Love the deep meaning behind this movie.The comedy was brilliant had me laughing so hard at some scenes. I just felt it was too unrealistic at times but you expect that from an action comedy

This was quite enjoyable. It’s not perfect, but I loved it. Reynolds and Branagh work really well together. Good laughs. Good action. Good story. Good pace. Worth the watch. Would recommend and would rewatch.

The CGI is a little weird tho.

Some tiny funny moments and some decent action scenes but an overall dumb plot, dumb script and Hollywood trash. Ryan Reynolds’ schtick has gotten really old and predictable. Same character in every movie. Hated this movie in so many ways.

I’m not a Branagh fan and I like him even less when he struggles with accents. Wish they would’ve found a true Russian or someone else with more comedic chops. But regardless, it was a decent enough movie and I like the sociopolitical commentary on both sides.

7.5/10 it was alright. Fun in some occasions. Ryan Reynolds kinda just plays himself at this point and even though I love comedy, his character didn't feel like it fit a lot of the times, comedy felt alright.

What I did enjoy was the shots used and how creative they were to get that look between takes. Even some shots were creatively used for comedic timing which I enjoyed quite a bit.

Might come back to it, but as of right now, it was alright

Need a sequel where these two try to make it to the US while the KGB hunts them down for revenge. Someone greenlight this shit 😂

Mayday is a film that could have gone to theatres. It’s a great comedy/action film that never fails to entertain.

A funny film with a pretty good story.


This was a decent film and an entertaining watch. Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh were both good. Ryan Reynolds is amazing when it comes to line delivery. Kenneth Branagh had a great Russian accent and he did a great job at speaking it.

I thought it was entertaining. Nothing spectacular.

I usually expect these kind of movies to be kinda dry of humour and pretty repetitive/cliché, but man was I wrong abt this one 😭 it's truly such a fun and well written movie!

Awesome movie! 9/10.
They captured the era very well and Kennth Branagh is a fantastic actor.
Enjoyed the one take scenes with back to back sequences.
-1 for an out of place homosexuality writing that did nothing for the story’s plot whatsoever.
