In past lives Celine strong got the idea of long lost love right. In materials she fell flat. The first half was wonderful. Dakota was wonderful. But nothing/no one else really fit. There were many layers and some were good, but as a whole it just wasn’t there.

Good acting, good storytelling, it's a little on the nose but other than that a very good film.
