Movie makes me want to cry and throw up and cry and curl up in a ball and just cry

Amazing acting these actors are very talented. I understand the ending was supposed to be hopeful/optimistic but I can’t help but feel empty inside after watching. I liked how it gives an unbiased depiction of both sides of the divorce and no one is really the villain.

what a beautiful story - i really love how you get to truly see both sides of the marriage and grow attached to both of the main characters despite their conflict - scarlett johansson is phenomenal in this and adam driver was good to -really sad story but optimistic ending

The way they both talk about each other in the beginning of the movie, and the feelings that you go through during their conversations and conflicts were indescribable.

Both Scarlett and Adam delivered outstanding performances. ♡

Such a wonderful movie. An indie movie with great acting and great storytelling. The shots are beautiful alone and very well at explaining divorce and family relationships and dynamics. Feels like a real broken love story! Must watch!! Leaves you thinking and calm!

This movie had so much heart and I honestly loved the ending. Marriage story reminds me of a younger me when my parents divorced. This movie’s ending made me cry, and not many have done that. 11/10

i’m sorry but i didn’t really catch it like ik it’s a classic but i haven’t even finished it yet and i keep starting it over and over bcs i don’t remember it when i watch it bcp it hasn’t marked me but ig it’s a good movie for some ppl just not for me 😔😔 but i love scarlett tho 🥹
