The best in the series imo.

Nice!

The interval point was jaw-dropping, but everything else was too predictable... and too easy (when compared to the amazing first two films). 2 is still one of the best Bollywood films I've ever seen. This REALLY doesn't live up.

Mardaani 3 had every reason to be great and it chose not to be. It was such a delicate and devastating subject that was handled with very little precision and even lesser rage. It felt repetitive, predictable, and honestly like a missed opportunity more than anything. The one saving grace was Mallika Prasad who was absolutely terrifying in her role. YRF is one of the banners that made me fall in love with cinema, which is exactly why I know they’re capable of so much better than this. I hope they find their way back to that.

Absolutely very suspenseful and thrilling than the first two Mardaani movies, and Rani Mukerji once again delivers her action-packed performance as Inspector Shivani Roy!!! Love this franchise!!! Hope to see Mardaani 4 very soon!!!!

It started strong and love the plot twists but the execution is bad love the sound effects made it enjoyable and excited, cinematography is soo good

Could not beat Mardaani 2. Very predictable and cliche.

I expected a solid installment, but the sheer darkness of this film’s plot totally caught me off guard.

What Worked:
Żurawski’s cinematography builds a bleak, oppressive atmosphere. Mukerji is a powerhouse, and facing the franchise’s first female villain creates a terrifying dynamic. Through my Methodist faith lens, seeing Shivani act as a relentless shield for the vulnerable deeply resonated with my values on justice and defending the marginalized.

The Cuts:
Throwing out beggar mafia red herrings meant the narrative momentum completely stalled out; it was just spinning its wheels in the first half. Keeping it spoiler-free, the convoluted medical conspiracy reveal feels like it belongs in a totally different movie. Also, the brutal finale abandons any sense of grace or redemptive justice for vengeance, leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

Verdict:
A punishing thriller anchored by Mukerji. Watch for dark Indian cinema, but skip if you want a clean procedural.

Favorite Line: “I will rescue her.”

This film did it nicely. Engaging with a slight Bollywood aura farming. Not as good as the second one, but still stands on its own
