I expected a standard police procedural, but got an incredibly dark, gripping dive into the terrifying reality of human trafficking.

What Worked:
Rani Mukerji’s grounded performance blew me away. Her actual Krav Maga training gives the combat brutal realism. Tahir Raj Bhasin is terrifying as the kingpin; his cold, corporate demeanor makes the stakes feel incredibly real. The documentary-style camera work perfectly captures the grimy, claustrophobic tone.

The Cuts:
Repetitive cat-and-mouse phone calls meant the middle part really dragged for me while I waited for the raid. Through my faith and flag lens, the sheer depravity involving the victims was honestly super tough to stomach, making it a grueling watch. Also, some investigative leaps felt way too convenient, like the cops just stumbled onto clues right when the script needed them to.

Verdict:
A gripping thriller shining a harsh light on a dark subject. Not for the faint of heart, but a solid watch to see pure evil dismantled.

Favorite Line: “I will drag you out from wherever you are hiding.”

A great social crime film with an excellent performance by Rani Mukherjee.
