Not for the feint of heart. Absolutely brutally amazing remake that surpasses the original and makes you look at Frodo differently moving forward. Elijah needs to do more roles like this, and he’d be terrific in some sort of thriller with Daniel Radcliffe.

Style of shooting was cool, movie was a little weird tho

no plot. no point. just gross.

When you think of remakes it’s usually big IP ones and not a remake of an 80s exploitation movie. I haven’t seen the original, so I can’t say which is better, but this version provides an intimate psychological examination of serial killers and features an innovate POV style.

he was desperately trying to break away from type casting, and while I am not sure hoe successful that was this was a thoroughly enjoyable film.

never seen a movie in a first persons style. made it feel like a video game. AVE MARIA in a movie makes it amazing. it was honestly scary to see everything from his perspective and the ending was a lot

Not only is the first person point of view quite interesting, this is probably the first psychology slasher to make me quite creeped out and feel like I’m on the edge of my seat. Bold move by the directors of the film and with good payoff.

Not like you’ve ever seen Elijah Wood before. Gory, creepy, slashery good!
