Manchester by the Sea

Tough movie, real life shit a lot of other movies stay away from.

Extremely overrated. Yes the acting was good, the portrayal of grief and loss, and not being able to move on was really good, but apart from that what else was there. No action, extremely slow dialogue and plot. Just a very dull movie. Only scene I liked was the police scene.

Bro I really just shed a tear watching this. I’m hungover af which made this movie even more depressing but the story telling in it was so good. Casey Affleck was was amazing.

I don’t know what I think about this movie. I mean I enjoyed watching it but this movie is SO hyped I mean I expected so much more from this. But don’t get me wrong it was still a great movie. The acting is really special and realistic. Just a bit dragged.

Kanker depressing. Beetje langdradig en ik weet niet wat ik van de soundtrack keuze moet vinden. Te veel momenten waar mensen door elkaar heen blijven praten. Maar wel een realistisch verhaal.

It’s stands out in a mix of very boring critics movies. As Manchester By The Sea combines wall to wall misery with an amazing soundtrack and performances from its cast. My only con is that you have to be a critic to enjoy this to a whole new level. Ending slaps though 8.8/10.
