Tough movie, real life shit a lot of other movies stay away from.

Extremely overrated. Yes the acting was good, the portrayal of grief and loss, and not being able to move on was really good, but apart from that what else was there. No action, extremely slow dialogue and plot. Just a very dull movie. Only scene I liked was the police scene.

Bro I really just shed a tear watching this. I’m hungover af which made this movie even more depressing but the story telling in it was so good. Casey Affleck was was amazing.

Kinda overrated. More depressing than sad.

My grandfather passed away yesterday morning. I knew I wanted a movie that would allow me to process those emotions, and God, this was the right choice. It doesn't shy away from the deep pain of loss, but still shows how to feel other emotions through the grief.
