i cried bro. this film moved me so much.

the score was a huge factor of it, my emotions were peaking.

denzel’s performance in this is astounding. an absolute bad ass. incredible character development, loved his evolving attachment to pita, the determination & execution of john creasy is phenomenal. amazing character.

bro can actually speak good spanish haha.

pita was adorable, no spoilers but what a rollercoaster of emotions.

loved the crazy zoom ins, quick cuts, flashy transitions, classic early 00’s action film.

cinematography & camerawork is brilliant.

brilliant screenplay. standing ovation to scott & quinnel on the writing & directing.

phenomenal production, great action sequences, great suspense & thrill overall.

i have to say this film sits right on top of “training day” of my fav denzel films of all time ngl.

OG denzel is cinema.

absolute banger of a film.
