it was actually shockingly good. i’m so used to being bored during martial arts movies, but this one was intense. it really kept my attention.

fun time, solid story, nothing special. plenty of other martial art films can scratch the same itch but this movie was still good for what it was. all in all, a fine movie and an interesting directorial debut for Reeves
