I didn’t realize that I liked ABBA until I watched this movie. Such a happy, light-hearted, and joyous movie that I would recommend for any occasion.

I live for Mamma mia movies. My mom wouldn’t take me to see it in the theater cause she said this was for girls. I was like excuse me

literally my comfort movie! such a fun and memorable movie to sing along while you’re watching! it’s great for laughing, singing, dancing, crying, etc! 10/10 movie and i highly recommend for all <3

Might be a good show to see as a play, but on screen it’s painfully formulaic and zero chemistry with the actors. Probably one of the worst musicals I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen hundreds. Only hardcore ABBA fans will be able to muster cause to enjoy this.

If I was held at gunpoint and told that it was watch Mamma Mia or die I would choose the bullet 9 times out of 10
I think it is an insult to abba and those actresses.
The songs have no connection to the plot and the plot isn’t that good to begin with.

The setting is good though

Mamma Mia is an extremely overrated adaptation of a great stage musical. The music is mediocre and the acting is kinda bad. 5/10
