People give this a hard time, but despite how emotionally exhausting it is, I absolutely loved the story development. The shots were beautiful and the acting was raw. At some points, it did feel a bit too preachy and egotistical, but I felt what they were saying truly had value.

106 minutes of a bunch of yelling.

It’s sad that he couldn’t truly see her or understand why she was upset. They both feel like people who shouldn’t—and maybe can’t be in a relationship. What’s happening between them goes much deeper than a single fight.

fuck. i hate that Sam Levinson wrote this. it’s so fucking good, perhaps the only good thing he’s ever done. it felt so real to what any deep, long term relationship has gone through. especially as a woman- which feels insane to say. i feel like i could write a paper on this film
